Dancing With the Stars - March 31

Yep, it's already time for DWTS again, and my opinions on tonight's show are over on the Entertainment Blog.

Come tell me what you thought!

Saturday, March 29, 2008

I still love him.

I'm making plans for my first meet with a blogger friend, and I am oh, so excited. I'm checking out hotels and restaurants and wireless internet...you know, all the necessities.

I need me a vacation, BAD.

Big Daddy and I haven't spent many nights away from one another in our 12 years together; he's gone on two overnight fishing trips and worked overnight a few times. In other words, I've never left.

He's gettin' a little bit nervous, my friends. I asked him if he's nervous taking care of the girls for 2 days by himself. He says no.

I ask if it's the fact that I'm meeting someone I've never met before, in a strange town.

"No, I'm just concerned about you driving all that way by yourself."

Y'all, it's less than 200 miles. I ran the roads like crazy when I was a sleazy single girl, and he knows that.

"Well, but you're a lot older now."

Yeah, he went there.

Disappointment Abounds

Dear Schlotzsky's down the street from my house,

I was oh, so happy two days ago when passed your sign and saw a new Cinnabon sign underneath.

Cinnabon!

Which I've only had in an airport or a mall. These days, I avoid the mall at all costs, and I haven't set foot in an airport since we've had kids.

Hey, Las Vegas! I miss you and your yummy Cinnabon!

Anyway, Cinnabon!

The sign was right there with the Schlotzsky's, Weinerschnitzel and Tastee Freez signs. I immediately began planning my visit for this morning.

Did I mention I was excited?

This morning I made sure I had the debit card, took Scooter to school, and got ready to surprise Big Daddy with Cinnabon! I turned in next to the sign and tried to figure out where Cinnabon is. Oh, it's inside of Schlotzsky's. Cool.

Except guess what? Schlotzsky's doesn't open until 10:00 a.m.

What?

Mr. Person In Charge Of Schlotzsky's, what kind of sense does it make to bring the best cinnamon rolls in the free world to my town, and then not have them available for breakfast?

None, I tell ya! None!

So now I'm craving cinnamon rolls but not in the afternoon, dadgummit!

What were you thinking?

Sincerely,

Wednesday, March 26, 2008

She's on a roll.

Pooh (8): Scooter, I'm sorry that I blamed it on you when I didn't know what happened.

Scooter (4): Iss okay, Pooh. Of course I forgive you.

Pooh's crying.

Scooter: Pooh, after dinner I'll give you a 'ward, 'kay?

Pooh: You don't have to.

Scooter: Pooh. I'm trying to be a Kishtan (Christian), 'kay? I'm tryin' to be nice and do what God says. So I'm gonna give you a 'ward, got it?

American Idol - March 25

Hey, did y'all watch American Idol tonight? I finally had a chance to fire up the DVR, and my review is up over at my Entertainment Blog.

Check it out and tell me what you think!

Musical Chairs

When I picked up Scooter from school today, she had stickers all over her face.

The kid loves stickers.

Her teacher said, "Scooter, tell Mommy what you did today."

"Hmmm...uh...."

"Tell your Mommy why you got all these stickers."

"I got stickers and Bonus Bucks and uhm...."

Obviously, the teacher was gonna have to tell me herself.

Seems the kids were playing musical chairs today, and after the music stopped, two little girls were fighting over a chair. Scooter, who was already ensconced in a chair, got up to give her chair to one of the other little girls. The teachers explained to Scoot that if she gave up her chair, she'd be out of the game.

"Tha's okay. I don't want Destiny to be sad."

That's my pumpkin. Just when I'm convinced her mission in life is to drive me up a wall, she brings me back to my knees.

Advice Forum Friday - The Birds and the Bees...and Puppies. Oh MY.

My girls have been playing make believe all day long with a friend who's here for the day. At one point I looked over and one was laying all weird on top of the other; I couldn't imagine what was going on.

Then I heard this, "Okay, the puppy came out."

Oh my heavens, they're playing puppies giving birth. I didn't say anything, but wondered...oh yes, there was that one episode of Emergency Vets where my girls saw a puppy being born.

Well.

They kept it up. With general anatomical accuracy. Without being inappropriate. If you know what I mean. And I was uncomfortable.

Finally, I said, "Okay, guys, enough with the birthing of the puppies. You can play dogs and puppies all you want, but let's stop giving birth for today."

"Oh. Okay."

"But can we play kitties getting born, then?"

Obsessed much?

"No, sweetie, no more babies being born in this living room for today. Who's taking care of all the puppies that were just born?"

So what I'd like to know from you, oh wise ones, is this: How would you have handled this?

I try not to make a big deal out of this kind of thing, because I don't want my girls to think it's a big deal. But there usually comes a time when I think the subject has gone on long enough or too far, so I step in.

What do you think?

Oh, and as usual, if you have a question, post it on your blog, link back to me, and sign the Mr. Linky down below. If you have trouble, just shoot me an e-mail and I'll try to help ya out.

I have a confession.

I like the Captain and Tennille.

There, I've said it.

Not only do I like them, but I am currently listening to Muskrat Love on the Solid Gold Oldies channel on TV.

Now do me a favor and share a guilty secret with me. I promise I won't tell.

American Idol Top 10 Results

I'm talking about the American Idol Results Show on my Entertainment Blog. What do you think? Did the right person go home tonight?

The four-year-old Gets It!

The girls are watching a movie on The Disney Channel, and a commercial for the Hannah Montana concert DVD comes on.

Scooter says, "Those people looks like they're worshipping Hannah 'Tana 'stead of God."

And to think she was driving me crazy just hours ago.

The four-year-old gets it!

Dancing and Singing

Hey, everybody. I've written my reviews of American Idol and Dancing With the Stars on my Entertainment Blog. Go take a look and tell me what you think!

Just another not-so-Manic Monday

Yesterday was Big Daddy's day off, and as usual, We Had Big Plans. That's usually how it goes on Mondays in the Dirty Laundry household, but the day often ends with And We Didn't Do Any Of It.

It's Spring Break, so I had no girls to get ready for school, which means I Was In Heaven. (Still am today, by the way.)

Big Daddy cracks me up on his days off, because he is Very Intense With The Plans, and then when 8:00 a.m. on Monday rolls around, his Plans are smothered with snores.

I had a few errands I wanted to get done yesterday, and I did not want to do it with 3 girls showing me Everything They See. Seriously, y'all, these lovely kids of mine are Thrilled To Death with everything they see, and they want me to see All Of It.

What's with all the Capitalization?

Anyway. Managing these girls of mine is like a chess game sometimes.

The Situation: Big Daddy is asleep and will be annoyed if he is woken up.

Issues:
Scooter and Tinkerbell together will almost definitely get too loud and wake him up.
Pooh and Tink together will get into things they absolutely shouldn't be into.
Can't take Scooter with me because she will drive me absolutely insane with the pointing and the touching and the hugging. Yes, hugging is wonderful until you're shopping and have to stop to give one every 27 seconds. Then? Not so wonderful.
Prefer not to take Pooh with me because then I'll have to say No 158 times, because she has very good reasons why we should buy almost everything in the store.

Solution:
Tink goes with me.
Pooh stays home and plays Gameboy.
Scooter is in her room with Noggin and every stuffed animal in the house.

Added Feature of Brilliance: I bend the rules and let Tink bring the other Gameboy in the car, since we're gonna be in there a lot. This gives her something to do other than ask me 452 questions. My limit is usually 343.

And the mission was successful.

Tink needs new glasses, so we went straight to the eyeglasses place and ordered the most adorable Disney Princess glasses you ever saw. She has a real complex about wearing glasses, so we try to make it as special as we can. These frames have a little charm dangling off the earpiece. Adorable.

We next went to the Credit Union, where we noticed my Dad's truck in the parking lot. Tink snuck up on him in the lobby - what fun! Seriously, I'm easily amused.

What followed were boring stops at Staples and Target, then on to Taco Bueno to procure my girls' favorite lunch - tacos and burritos.

Do you know that, even though I talked to BD on the phone a couple of times during my outing, he was back asleep when I got home? He needs the rest and definitely deserves it, but let's not overdo it, 'kay?

Anyway.

Even though none of our original plans were even CONSIDERED yesterday, it was a great day, and I accomplished great big bunches of boring junk.

Which delights me to no end.

Thanks for sticking with it through this rambling post. You rock.

Dancing With The Stars - The New Season!

It's time for another season of Dancing With The Stars, y'all, and this time I'm gonna try to stick it out through the entire season. Last time I sort of lost interest but hopefully that won't be the case this time.

Penn Gillette's up first with Kim somebody and the first thing I've gotta say is that he's better looking than I realized. I'm not saying he's hot, but I guess I always saw him as a big ol' geek, and in his rehearsal clothes he looks like a real fun guy.

On to the dancing. Y'all, I don't know if it's possible for a guy that big to be good technically, but he just looks so fun out there! I am lovin' it. I would love to see him in some more flattering clothes, though. The judges think he's entertaining but needs to work on his footwork.

Also Penn? Please stop with the wisecracks or I'll take back all the nice things I said about ya. Thanks.

Score? Oh my goodness, just a 16.

Jason Taylor and Edita doing the Fox Trot. Aw, he's good! His feet may not be light enough, but y'all, I really love to watch the men on this show, since ballroom dance is probably the last thing they ever thought they'd be doing!

Len think he did a great job, but maybe needs to put more acting into it. Carrie Ann thinks his hands were great, and Bruno thinks he was graceful but needs more heat.

The judges' score: 22!

Christian de la Fuente is a big old Hot Tamale. He's dancing with Cheryl Burke, who's won 2 DWTS championships, and they're doing the Cha Cha Cha.

I didn't know until I saw this show that it was the Cha Cha Cha. I always thought there were just two Cha's.

DISCLAIMER: I believe my judgement may be clouded, which is the reason why I have no idea what the judges said. Look! At his pretty smile!

But the score? Oh, it's a 21!

Now we're on to Adam Corolla and Julianne Hough doing the Fox Trot. Wow, Adam has aged a bit, hasn't he? Oh my, and Julianne is only 19? How old was she the first time she won, for goodness sakes? Oh, I love this dance. Adam's good, people!

The judges think he's got good footwork, but lots of work to do.

The score? 15. Now friends, that's just sad, because I think he was definitely better than Penn!

R & B Star Mario and Karina Smirnoff. Let me just say I never heard of this kid but hopefully he can dance. I love this pale aqua color they're wearing! He's moving his hips good, I think, and his feet look good too, to this unsophisticated Texas girl.

The judges mostly agreed with me, and the score? WOW...a 24!

I like Steve Guttenberg, y'all, and I hope he's a good dancer. Hmmm...not so much. I even saw him counting one time. He's cute, though.

Let's find out what the judges have to say. Bruno wants to see more drive, Carrie Ann thinks he's adorable, and Len thinks he looks like he's enjoying himself, but needs to work on technique. Yay, I'm glad they didn't tear him up!

Steve and Anna's Score: 18.

That's it for tonight, folks; the girls are tomorrow night and I think they're gonna be the ones to beat!

Top guy for me tonight was Christian, and not just because he made me drool. I think Penn may be on the bottom of my list, although I really liked ALL the guys. Who's your favorite, and who do you think will go home?

NASCAR, here I come!

A couple of days ago the big girls and I were out running around when Big Daddy and Scooter came to meet us at Costco for a high time at the warehouse store.

After we had loaded the mini van with big old bags of frozen foods, the big girls went with BD, and Scooter switched over to my car. As she was buckling her seatbelt, Scoot said, "I bet we gonna beat Daddy, Momma."

I told her, "Oh honey, Mommy drives real slow and we're not ever gonna beat Daddy." Bless her heart, I didn't see any sense in getting her hopes up.

"Aw, man."

We stopped to pick up dinner, and as we pulled back out onto the street I said, "Scoot, we're definitely not gonna beat Daddy now." And then a little lightbulb went on over my head.

I called BD on the cell phone and asked him where he was. He was just a couple miles ahead of us, so I asked him to pull over.

"Okay, what for?"

"Scoot wants to talk to you. Hold on."

Scooter stayed on the phone, talking to BD, Tink, Pooh and BD again until we passed them sitting in a parking lot, and then she said, "We're gonna beat you, suckers!"

And because I am, indeed, slow, BD actually passed us again and Scooter begged him on the phone to let us win, which we did, by a hair.

And my girl was satisfied.

Welcome to The Party!

Be sure to scroll down for new posts, because this one will stay on top throughout the party.

I can't believe it's already been a year since the first Ultimate Blog Party, brought to us by those wonderful ladies at 5 Minutes For Mom!

I'm so excited that y'all have stopped by my little blog for a visit! I guess I'd better tell you a little about myself.

I'm a stay-at-home Mom to 3 darling daughters, Pooh(8), Tinkerbell(6) and Scooter(4). I know some people don't like nicknames on blogs, but guess what - we really call 'em Tink and Scooter, and sometimes even Pooh!

We adopted our girls through foster care 3 years ago, and even though it is HARD sometimes, I thank God every day for helping us find each other. I am obviously a big advocate for foster/adoption, so if you have any questions or want to know more about our story, PLEASE feel free to ask!

I've been married to Big Daddy for 11 crazy, traumatic, eventful, miraculous, blessed years. He's great, and mostly takes very good care of his girls, especially me. 'cept when I'm overly crazy, then he just laughs at me.

Most Fridays I do a little Forum here called Advice Forum Fridays. I started it about six months ago, mainly because I'm always wondering how other people do things...any old thing from your best cookie recipe to how you handle whacked out 1st grade teachers to what's the most frugal place to download music.

I'll save the rest for later on...now I've got to go check out some parties myself.

Thank you so much for stopping by my corner of the world, and please come back - there's so much more to tell!

OOH, and I just remembered to tell you about all the neat prizes they're offering over at 5MFM. While I'd be thrilled to win ANY of the prizes, my top 10 are:

Advice Forum Friday - What Do You Think?

Good morning, y'all! It's time for another riveting edition of Advice Forum Friday, that weekly bloggy happening where I ask for your expert advice and opinions.

I do this most Fridays because I am ALWAYS wondering what, my friends, would you do? Does this indicate insecurity on my part? Maybe. Indecision? Certainly. Whatever the reason, I need advice and I need lots of it. Just be thankful that I try to restrict it to Fridays!

So let's get down to business, shall we? If I can remember what I was gonna ask you.

I have GOT to start writing this stuff down when I think of it!

Okay, a couple things.

Number one, I would love to know your favorite bread machine recipe! You can post it on your blog and sign my Mr. Linky, or just give me the whole thing in my Comments section.

Next. Do you make anything else in your bread machine? I've heard of people making all sorts of whacky stuff in there, but I've been afraid to try. Doesn't have to be wacky, of course. Just good.

Side note: Is it spelled Whacky or Wacky? Neither looks right to me this morning.

And finally, I got this big old roaster oven for Christmas, kind of like a Nesco, but not. Do you have one, and if so what kinds of wonderful things do you do in it? I've only used mine once, but I'm looking forward to using it this summer to save electricity and keep my kitchen cooler.

So lay it on me, friends! Enlighten me, educate me and inspire me.

Don't forget, if you need to be enlightened, educated or inspired this week, just post your question at your blog and sign the Mr. Linky right down there.

And by all means, have a great weekend!

American Idol Top 12 - RESULTS

I'm talking about tonight's Results Show tonight over here. Come tell me what you think, y'all!

Tuesday, March 11, 2008

American Idol Top 12

I'm cross-posting this from my Entertainment Blog tonight, guys.

We're finally down to American idol's Top 12, y'all. It's time to get serious. They're singing Lennon/McCartney songs, which seems sort of difficult to me, so we'll see how the night goes.

Simon seems cranky tonight; I hope he shapes up quick.

Syesha is first tonight, singing Got To Get You Into My Life. She does a fine job, but it's Theme Park/Cruise Ship to me. Ironically, Randy and Paula think it's all right and Simon thinks it's "better than all right." I guess it'll depend on how the rest do...

Chikezie's doing She's a Woman. Do I know this song? Oh my...he's using a blue grass arrangement? Oh, but then it sort of goes southern rock. His performance is good, but I'm not sure what the judges will say. Randy said Chikezie smashed it! Paula and Simon agree, too.

Ramiele Malubay is trying In My Life. She's got such a pretty voice but I don't think she's doing enough with this song. Randy thought it was boring...I was afraid of that. Paula thinks she looks lovely tonight and that it was a safe performance. Simon was bored to tears.

Here comes Jason Castro performing If I Fell. I love that he and Brooke White are breaking out of the mold this season and singing more acoustic, folksy, ORIGINAL arrangements. Randy liked it, didn't love it but Paula disagreed with him. Unfortunately, I didn't understand why she disagreed with him. Simon - boring - I'm not surprised.

Carly Smithson sings Come Together every Saturday night at her bar job. Let's see how she does on American Idol. Holy smokes, I think she owned it. The audience agrees with me. Judges? "Stellar Performance."

Let's listen to David Cook from Oklahoma sing Eleanor Rigby. I'm not being mean when I say that I wish a stylist would get hold of this guy's hair. Hold on, I think they may have chopped a centimeter or two off; maybe they can just do a tiny bit each week. Okay, so the song...I didn't really like it starting out, but it sort of grew on me.

Big Daddy thinks it's too predictable for David. The audience loved it, though. Randy thought it started out rough but then rocked. Paula thinks he's a thoroughbred. Simon thinks it's brilliant, and that David could win the entire show if it's judged by talent alone.

Next up is Brooke White, who is my favorite so far this season. Whatcha got, Brooke? She's singing Let It Be, and I just absolutely love this girls' voice. Love. Her. She seems a little uncomfortable singing to the camera while she's playing the piano, but I don't think it's a big deal. The judges were sort of ambivalent about it...except for Simon, who thought it was one of the best of the night, and a brilliant choice of song. Go Simon! Go Brooke!

David Hernandez is also one of my favorites. Tonight he's singing I Saw Her Standing There...ooh, I hope it's not too cliche. Not off to a good start, in my opinion...well maybe...no, not so much. Wah. Judges didn't like it either. I hope he gets through to try again next week.

Amanda Overmyer is such a pretty girl under that hair and costume. I just realized she reminds me of my cousin...if my cousin dressed up as a rocker for Halloween. She's singing You Can't Do That (Not my cousin - Amanda!). I'm still not a fan, but Randy and Paula liked it. Simon said he couldn't understand most of the words, and Paula actually said, "That's why we like her." WHAT?! We like her because we can't understand her? I don't know if I'm un-hip or what, but holey moley, I still don't get it.

So let's move on. To Michael Johns, who's doing Across The Universe tonight. It's okay. Randy thought it was a little sleepy (?) and Paula disagreed with him. Simon agreed with Randy, and he's frustrated because he thinks Michael is capable of more.

Kristy Lee Cook is singing 8 Days a Week with a country arrangement. I like it, but it's not spectacular. Randy said there were some parts about it he liked, but wasn't sure about the vocals. Paula didn't enjoy it, didn't get it. Simon thought it was horrendous, like Dolly Parton on helium. OUCH.

Ryan's blaming Simon for the arrangement, since Simon told Kristy she sounded best doing country. But this arrangement wasn't just country, it was hillbilly, and that's the problem, in my opinion.

We're finishing out the night with David Archuleta, who's singing We Can Work It Out. In his taped piece, he was very nervous. OOPS, did he forget his words? Looks like the Wonder Kid is having an off night. I do think he's very talented in general, but tonight the playing field is a bit more level, I guess.

Didn't work for Randy, Paula is encouraging as usual, and Simon says it's a mess.

So for tonight? My favorites are Carly and Brooke, with maybe a little Jason thrown in. Going home? Seriously, could be any one of about 5. Ramiele, Amanda, Syesha, Kristy Lee, even Hernandez.

Stay tuned...

You know what?

You know what's just ridiculous?

Big Daddy offered to start my car for me this morning and then he left to take Scooter to school. When Tink and I got ready to leave, I spent 10 minutes looking for my keys.

Yeah, they were in the car. That BD told me he was starting.

Tink was almost late to school. Brilliant.

You know what's embarrassing? I'm not going anywhere except school runs today, so I dressed accordingly. Then I realized I looked better when I had my pajamas on. That's really sad.

And finally, you know what kind of Mo-Rons drive around in thick fog with Absolutely No Lights On? The ones in my neighborhood, thanks for asking.

Carry on.

We're either the best or the worst - I can't decide

Y'all, the Dirty Laundry Family had a full-on food fight at dinner tonight. No lie.

I started it.

We were almost finished eating our take-out from Long John Silver's, talking trash, when I got the urge to throw a french fry at Big Daddy. So I did. And that sucker had the nerve to throw it back at me! Tink starting throwing whole cheese sticks, Pooh was throwing corn on the cob, and Scooter's weapons were hush puppies. I don't know who threw the half-eaten piece of fish, but Buster and Bear were in heaven!

Big Daddy took up a position in the corner of the kitchen, I stayed at the table and the girls were running all over the place. He returned everything we threw at him, and the only injury came when he launched a cob of corn at Scooter, she ducked and he nailed me in the bazooms.

When the fight ended, the floor was filthy, but not for long. Sweet Bear and Buster helped with the big chunks, Tink swept and BD mopped.

And nobody has to eat leftovers tomorrow.

The ugly side of me

You wanna know what really, REALLY bugs me sometimes? It's the cooking part that comes with the wife and mother business. I just Do Not Like being responsible for feeding people, Three Times A Day. And these kids and this husband? They want to eat, THREE TIMES A DAY!

Let me be clear - I like to cook. When I feel like it. But not so much when I don't want to. And apparently this wife and mother gig requires cooking All The Time.

One of the only things I miss about being single is being able to eat (or NOT!) whatever I want, whenever I want. (Another is getting to go potty without having to talk to anyone, but that's another post altogether.)

You'd think after 11+ years of being a wife and 3+ years of being a mother, I'd be used to this. Unfortunately, if you thought that you'd be wrong.

Some days, it's no big deal. Sometimes I LOVE cooking. Unfortunately today isn't one of those days. Good thing the payoffs FAR outweigh the chef duties.

Anyone else but me have this problem?

American Idol - Top 8 Girls

My gripping review of tonight's American Idol is up on my Entertainment Blog. :>) If you're a fan, go check it out!

I'm a doof.

So. I'm sitting here (with my Spring Green laptop) (are you sick of me yet?) reading blogs in Google Reader, only I was on my Google Homepage instead of IN Google Reader like I usually am.

And I thought if I clicked Mark All As Read it was just gonna mark those five little posts that I could see.

But I was wrong.

So now I have absolutely nothing to read in Google Reader. Which is kind of liberating but also boring.

Well. I guess I'll have to go do laundry or something.

WFMW Backwards Edition - MP3 Help?

Wow, I have not done Works For Me Wednesday in about a grillion years, but I wanted to get in on the Backwards Edition this week. I am All About Asking The Questions, my friends!

Big Daddy and I are finally getting into the 21st century, musically, and have ordered us some nifty mp3 players. Not iPods, cause I am a cheapo. But they're pretty good mp3 players, I think.

And I'm afraid we're gonna get these bad boys and not know what to do with 'em, y'all. I wanna download podcastesses and songs and all that good junk, but I don't know how.

So is there a website with maybe mp3 for Dummies somewhere? Will you tell me where? I had a site bookmarked for really inexpensive downloads, but when I went to check it out today, it didn't exist. Wah. Do you have a favorite little-known site for downloads, preferably dirt cheap?

Help! Any links you can give me will be appreciated.

And if you seem to ask for help as much as I do, please check back here for Advice Forum Friday, my wildly popular weekly forum that's read by at least 8 or 9 people! It's all the rage!

American Idol - And Then There Were 8

Hey, y'all! Did you watch American Idol this week? I did, and I blogged about it at my Entertainment Blog. Go check it out if ya want.

The Eagle Has Landed

Oh y'all, my laptop is here, and it is oh so dreamy! I just wanted to let you know, but now I've got to get up off the bed where I've spent the last several hours, just wandering around Windows Vista and my dreamy Dell Inspiron.

Did I mention it was dreamy? Yeah.

Good Morning Monday

Big Daddy is off work most Mondays and we had big plans for today, my friends.

Take 2 girls to school.

Go to the YMCA and work out. For the first time. Since we began our membership 30 days ago.

Go to Tom Thumb.

Pick up Scooter from school.

Eat lunch at Mama's Pizza. Because Big Daddy loves Mama's Pizza and I declined to eat Mama's Pizza last Thursday night. So I owe him one.

Go to Wal-Mart, Kroger and maybe Target.

Pick up Tinkerbell from school.

Come home and relax.

However.

This morning I got an e-mail from the fine folks at DHL that said, and I quote,
"March 3 2008 7:18 AM - With delivery courier - Neighboring Town, United States Of America."

People. It's my laptop. And it's Spring Green.

If y'all think I'm going 5 feet from this house before that DHL man comes, you're out of your ever lovin' mind.

I'll keep you posted.

P.S. Big Daddy does not resent having to spend the day lolling around in bed watching TV. At all.
