Grammar Check

"Would you have had to have turned left, or would you have had to have turned right?"

Aren't there too many haves and hads in this sentence? Or am I just delirious?

Discuss.

Something about that just does not sound right....

I'm laughing at this. I think if I were saying it, I would say, "Would you have had to turn..." The have's and had's didn't bother me as much as using turned instead of turn. Grammar drives me nuts, and my family too, because I'm always correcting them. But I'm not always right!

Way too many haves and hads.
I found you through the May Day Weight Loss Challenge. Since I thought I was the Queen of Dirty Laundry, I just had to check out your blog!

I followed Melanie...I just didn't know it (Came over from Tales from the Scales)
I, too, thought I was the queen of Dirty Laundry. *L* I guess there's an entire posse of us.

I think the sentence is just wrong but probably because I wouldn't have phrased it that way. So what's the answer to the riddle?

From one laundry pile to another - Bleach Free Blessings!

Count me a third from Tales from the Scales! I have a 3 month old son. I just knew I had to be the queen of dirty laundry...Maybe the queen of spit up since laundry is taken. Hmmm

Bleach Free Blessings indeed! lol
