Let's Pray!

This morning I was in the shower (I'm sure you needed to know that) doing my deep thinking, as is my custom. My mind wandered to a family member that I love and who has some issues with his attitude.

No, it's not Big Daddy.

And as I was praying for this family member I thought, HEY, wouldn't it great if the whole interweb world, or at least my little corner of it, could pray for Family Member? He's not ill with a life-threatening illness or homelessness or any of the biggies, but y'all? His emotional scars affect his day-to-day life in a sad way.

I was going to ask you to pray for Family Member, and then I wondered if you have a family member or friend who could use prayer, too, for needs big or small. You might have noticed that Christmas is coming up, so what better time to pray for our friends and family than Christmastime?

I may have 0 participants or 20, but I thought I'd open up a little prayer corner, right here at Queen of Dirty Laundry. I'll put up a linky thing in a couple of days, and give you a day's notice to get ready. And then we can all spend a morning or afternoon or midnight praying for each other.

There's no such thing as too much prayer support, right?

That's a great idea, Lori. :-) I'll put "Family Member" on my prayer list. God knows who they are... ;-)

I have my most thoughtful thoughts in the shower as well. The only uninterrupted (mostly) time of my day.

You're right...never too much prayer support.
