I have a confession.

I like the Captain and Tennille.

There, I've said it.

Not only do I like them, but I am currently listening to Muskrat Love on the Solid Gold Oldies channel on TV.

Now do me a favor and share a guilty secret with me. I promise I won't tell.

I love romance novels! I read one every chance I get which doesn't seem like to much anymore.

I really love - with a frightening ferocity - reality TV. Everything from Survivor to American Idol... but those are just the "normal" ones. I also enjoy me some "Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders", "America's Next Top Model", anything on one of the home and garden channels, anything with music, weightloss, etc...
It all started with - and this is the really sad confession - "The Real World" on MTV. I have grown sensitive to all of the sex & language on those shows (must be getting old) through the years though. However - I must admit I watched the Newlyweds.... Hmmm, the breakup - didn't see THAT comin'!

I can't think of any deep dark secret confessions but I do love Captain and Tenille (sp?) too. I also like a little Barry Manilo and just about any 70's and 80's. Especially the 80's.

Oooh, I grew up listening to Captain & Tenille! On 8-track, no less.

I also love John Denver. There, I said it.

I loved them too-
In fact I saw them on tv the other night and they look great!
What about Olivia Newton John back in the day?

Sister, today is Seventies Saturday on the light rock station here. This morning, anyone driving southbound on Main in Miami saw me singing at the top of my lungs to "I Write the Songs" by Barry Mannilow. And if that wasn't enough, I sat in the car until "Rock Me Gently" by Neil Diamond was over before I went in to get my new phone.

The Captain and Tenille rock much.
