WFMW- CVS Extra Care Bucks

Since Big Daddy and I are raising three girls on one income, I need every frugal trick I can find. Here's my current favorite, courtesy of Rachel at Out of the Overflow.

Rachel has written a detailed tutorial about using CVS' Extra Care Bucks program to save money and even get things for free. Instead of reinventing the wheel, I'll refer you to her post, and give her all the credit. She has explained the program so well that even I didn't get confused.

Since reading this post, I have gotten several items for free, including lipstick, cold medicine and feminine annoyance products. I've gotten Aleve and Excedrin for under a dollar, and Aussie hair products for $1 each, by combining coupons and Extra Care Bucks (just like cash back). Big Daddy knows that on Sunday, I'm gonna be going through my CVS sale paper and making my list.

CVS Extra Care Bucks ~ Works For Me. Go on over to Shannon's and check out the rest of today's great ideas!

P.S. Rachel also has a post on saving money at Walgreen's. She's just a wealth of information!

I'll have to check out those good deals. I was reading your past posts. You'll be great at homeschooling! I was terrified before I started it too. Wanting the best for your little one and having faith is already a great start!

I have a CVS just up the street for me, so I'm going to try this out.

Thanks for sharing!

Great tip. I already checked out all the site and even found a link to safe teen driving in the process. Thank you!

I've just gotten started with CVS ECB and I get such a thrill when I come home with $20 worth of products and only paid $1 or $2 cash. It takes some planning but the time is really worth it.

I'm going to have to give that post a read. I go to CVS frequently just b/c it's the closest store to our house. I need to be taking more advantage of my Extra Care Card!
