Bad Timing
Happy Independence Day, all!
You know what I was just thinking? I REALLY wish that our forefathers had considered weather when they declared Independence Day.
It's sweaty out there, y'all.
I'm thinking March or October may have been a more moderate choice. But that's just me.

Yeah, sometime when the humidity wasn't as high as the temperature would be nice.
I think we should start our own celebration. People do "Christmas in July" right? We should have "Independence Day in October"!
It could be worse. Remember, when they had to meeting to write the Declaration of Independence they were so secretive they kept the windows closed. In the summer, wearing those heavy clothes, high humidity, with NO AIR CONDITIONING. :-)
And wigs! They had to wear those wigs on top of everything else.
